O2 represents the relationship between humankind and nature as a whole.  It highlights the irony of the negative treatment of the environment by people. The work shows an androgynous human figure sitting on a clean-cut tree stump, holding an oxygen mask over its nose and mouth, and clutching an oxygen tank. The oxygen tank houses an illuminated diorama of a forest with green, healthy trees to contrast the dead stump the figure sits on. The work demonstrates how the human population is destroying the very thing that it needs to survive; cutting down the trees which produce the oxygen we need to breathe.
